How SpeakToScore handles your information

We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, password credentials handled through our authentication providers, onboarding details such as your target university and exam type, payment-related details processed through Paddle, and any support messages you send us.

We also collect speaking-test data that is necessary to provide the service, including exam recordings, transcripts, AI-generated scores, report content, usage history, and related metadata.

We use your information to:

• create and manage your account;
• deliver speaking exams, reports, analytics, and progress tracking;
• process purchases, verify access, and manage plan limits;
• improve product quality, security, and reliability;
• respond to support requests and service issues;
• comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

SpeakToScore uses third-party services including Supabase for authentication and data storage, Retell AI for conversational speaking sessions, Google Gemini for AI analysis, and Paddle for payments. Your information may be processed by these providers only as needed to operate the service.

Payments are processed by Paddle. SpeakToScore does not store your full payment card details.

Refund requests may be made within 14 calendar days of purchase, subject to our Refund Policy. Our refund terms are also stated in our Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate SpeakToScore, with legal authorities when required, or as part of a business transfer if the service is sold or reorganized.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate SpeakToScore, maintain your account history, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

You may update certain account details in your settings. You may also stop using the service at any time or request account-related help by contacting us.

SpeakToScore is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date and post the revised version on this page.
